Strictly Come Dancing: Holly Valance's Partner Artem Chigvintsev Fractures His Spine

Holly Valance has been forced to switch her Strictly Come Dancing partner, after Artem Chigvintsev fractured his spine.

Artem was diagnosed with a strained muscle after he injured himself in rehearsals on Friday, but has now been told he is suffering from a fracture in his lower spine.

Holly and Artem performed well last weekend despite the immense pain he was in, and scored highly with their jive. Judge Bruno Tonioli said: "It was a jive with a twist and swagger" and Craig Revel Horwood gasped: "Finally Holly some energy from you."

But it seems they will not be able to relive that magic anytime soon, and Holly is now in training with Strictly stalwart Brendan Cole, who could perform the rumba with her this weekend.
