Gun runner Steven Cardwell, who sold an arsenal of firearms which had been smuggled into the UK on transatlantic flights from the US, has been jailed.
The 31-year-old was given an indeterminate jail sentence at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday and told he would not be able to apply for parole for at least 11 years.
He had previously denied conspiring to import, sell and possess firearms.
