Newsreaders Take On 'Strictly' Challenge

The BBC's female newsreaders have made their annual sojourn to the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor for a special Children In Need performance.

Emily Maitlis, Sophie Raworth, Susanna Reid and Sian Williams all faced the ballroom show's picky male judges, as they stripped from 'sexy' work attire down to purple dance leotards.

Joining them was Angela Rippon, who originally hosted Come Dancing more than 30 years ago. The 67-year-old presenter proved she's still got it, as she dominated the dancefloor in a black ruffled dress.

Last year, the lusted-after ladies performed an unforgettable Lady Gaga routine, coached by Pineapple Dance Studios' Louie Spence.

See pictures from the performance below and watch the newsreaders in action on Children In Need on BBC1 from 7pm on Friday.
