Francis Maude says it's time for politicians to embrace technology - and even take home their red boxes on disks.
"We need to get our technology much better," he told the Press Association. "The technology that we had in the Cabinet Office that I inherited... I could not take my Red Box home on disc."
But while he may be confident with technology - and its security implications - other politicians have proved poor at handling even the simplest social networks.
