David Beckham has not ruled out a return to Premier League football, although the former Manchester United player has said he couldn’t see himself in another English shirt.

"I could never see myself playing against United for another Premier League team but you never know... stranger things have happened." Beckham admitted during a Talksport interview.

The 36-year-old midfielder is coming to the end of his contract with LA Galaxy, which will officially finish in December. Speculation is gathering about which team the footballer may sign with next as he hinted to Radio 1:

"I've got options, which is amazing at my age," he said. "A couple of big European clubs are after me.

Recently Beckham was linked with French club Paris St Germain, however he insists no transfer talks have taken place.

Remaining with LA Galaxy, where he has played with since 2007, has also not yet been ruled out.

"I might still be here next year playing," he said. "I need to sit down with friends and family and decide what's best for me.

"I have enjoyed everywhere I have played and it doesn't matter where I finish my career."

Beckham also expressed his desire to play for the Great Britain’s team at the London Olympics. He has already been involved in the bid team, and emphasised the personal appeal of the games:

"For me, being from the East End of London, my granddad played football down there at Hackney Marshes, my dad played there, I did too, and to see what is going on there is great. To be part of the GB team would be a dream for me."
