Got friends in the States? Make some right now. The annual Black Friday tech sales are on, and there are massive savings to be had on Apple according to The Sun.

The Sun reports that Apple will shave £101 off the normal selling price of the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac computers. The paper also writes that there could be £39 savings on iPads, £26 off iPods and £7 off iPod Nanos.

The Daily Mail reports that the Apple savings will be more like $101 off the the Macbook Pro, Macbook Air and iMac.

Best Buy in the states will be offering 40% off big screen TVs along with free-shipping.

Games are also being heavily reduced, including Battlefield 3, Batman: Arkham City and Gears of War 3.

While the sales don't extend to the UK, the postal service does. So now is the time to re-acquaint yourself with that long-lost American pen pal if you want cheap games and gadgets in time for Christmas.

The best way to shop in US is the have a friend that you visit every now and then and pick up your goods when visiting (not over the customs limit though). Then you reap the benefits of the sales at Macys, etc. Whatever the price in UK is in pounds, the price in US is the same in dollars. Additional benefit are the sales and they occur often.........................

the money you would save would be SWALLOWED BY THE POSTAGE COSTS ! so you would.nt be saving anything . in fact more likely spending more than if you bought here ! a mate sent some stuff here earlier this year . the value of the goods were about $50 . the cost to send abt $110 ! & they were.nt heavy items ! so no . it.s VERY unlikely if someone bought you stuff from there & sent it over here that you would save ANYTHING after postage costs !
