I'm A Celebrity: Pat Sharp And Lorraine Chase Exit The Jungle

JUNGLE: Two Stars Leave 'I'm A Celebrity' After A Gruelling Trial

Pat Sharp and Lorraine Chase have become the latest stars to leave the I'm A Celebrity jungle.

The former Fun House presenter was booted out after losing to Olympic athlete Fatima Whitbread in a special Bushtucker Trial called Fill Your Face, and former Emmerdale actress Lorraine left after receiving the fewest public votes.

Lorraine's exit was uneventful but Pat had a challenge on his hand as he battled to stay in the show.

At one point his and Fatima's trial was halted as Fatima got a cockroach stuck up her nose. A medic had to be called to syringe her nasal passage and after a couple of attempts the bug went through her nose and out of her mouth. The contest was back on, but, despite reaching a tiebreaker with Fatima, Pat eventually lost out as she found the coveted three stars in a box of mealworms first.

Fatima on her win claimed: "When it is head to head you just have to get in there and work until you get to the end, there is no point stopping." Pat knew he had a tough challenge on his hands all along, he said: "It is going to be difficult going up against her in anything. Not even just the physical but she also has the mental strength of an athlete."

As he left the jungle Pat explained he wanted his pal Mark Wright to be crowned King. While Lorraine told presenters Ant and Dec she was "happy" to leave the show and that she went into the jungle to mark her 60th birthday.

Pat and Lorraine follow Hart To Hart actress Stefanie Powers and 80s singer Sinitta in the list of celebrities to leave the contest so far.
