Strictly Come Dancing has waved goodbye to Anita Dobson, after she was placed in the bottom two with Holly Valance tonight.

The former EastEnders star lost her regular dance partner Robin Windsor to a foot injury this week so was instead joined by his replacement, Brendan Cole, as she was booted off of the show. The enthusiastic contestant said: "I've had a wonderful opportunity".

Despite not being by her side, Robin rang in to say a few words to his "darling" dance partner. He said: "You've been absolutely incredible, it's been a pleasure to work with you"

Judge Alesha said of Anita "she's an inspiration I think she's adorable."

It was both Anita and Holly's second time in the bottom two, but Holly and her partner Artem were saved by the public vote.

Judge Bruno said he was "bitterly disappointed" to see Holly in the bottom two again, he opined: "She was sexy, she was sassy, so I don't really understand it."

And Holly also seemed confused about the placing, she said: "I think our last dance was pretty decent and we had a great time doing it."

Harry Judd and Aliona, Chelsee Healey and Pascha, Jason Donovan and Kristina, Alex Jones and James, and Robbie Savage and Ola are all through to dance again next week.

Also on the show, Ce Lo Green performed his new song Anyway and we were reminded that next week is movie night on the Strictly dancefloor.

Chelsee revealed she'll be taking on the role of Princess Fiona from Shrek and judge Len promised it will be a great show, saying: "You get an extra dimension coming in."
