Pulp Fiction Poster Looted From British Embassy In Tehran

Iran Protestor In Tehran

Iranian students ransacked the British embassy in Tehran on Tuesday, smashing windows and burning flags.

Pictures from the Iranian capital show the protesters, who chanted "Death to England", hauling a variety of items out of the building.

But one particular piece of artwork boosted from Her Majesty's Embassy that caught Huffington PostUK's eye was a framed poster from the iconic 1994 film Pulp Fiction.

The black and white print features Samuel L Jackson and John Travolta in dark suits wielding big guns.

Was it part of the Foreign Office's official art collection? Or perhaps our man in Tehran is a Tarantino fan?

this dude must be thinking he's gotten his hands on the picture of the Iranian nuclear scientist's assassins. Now Iran has evidence the UK was involved.

Which idiot keep JOHN TRAVOLTA in an embassy?

I heard that JOHN TRAVOLTA & SAMUEL L. JACKSON were two of the hostages.
The only apparent casualties of the riots were John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson taken hostage - well, kind of! The riot and rather brief incursion into the United Kingdom’s embassy in Tehran was a severe diplomatic breach.
