School Bus Driver Did Sudoku Puzzles Whilst Driving Children

PA

A 12-year-old boy photographed a school coach driver doing a SUDOKU PUZZLE whilst transporting kids to school.

The schoolboy captured the driver balancing the puzzle book on his steering wheel in moving traffic. He showed the photograph to his mother, who informed the authorities. The driver has now been sacked from coach company Cavendish Liners.

The boy's mum - who has not been named - said: "I was shocked when I saw it. It was a big coach and it could have caused a lot of damage had it been in an accident. My son said he had his pen out and head down while the bus was moving. He apparently stopped when he saw someone take a photo. We're absolutely satisfied with the outcome – both the coach company and the school responded very quickly and efficiently."

A spokeswoman for Ferndown Upper School, in Ferndown, Dorset who used the service said: "Parents contacted us about it. It was obviously a shock."

Cavendish Liners said it was "horrified" by the content of the photograph, and launched an investigation.
