Battersea Park: More Than 1500 Santas Take Part In Charity Fun Run (Pictures)

Around 1600 charity runners dressed as Santa Claus took part in the Disability Snowport UK fun run in Battersea Park.

The 6 kilometre run raises funds for the charity which helps people with disabilities, including cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome, visual impairment and autism, to take part in snow sports.

There was a strenuous warm-up before the event, as hundreds of Father Christmases limbered up in hats and traditional red garb.

Who won? The chap with the beard.

I always thought that Santa was a man St. Nicholas, so what are the girls doing in the picture, equality gone mad I feel.

I'm confused. I didn't read anything about a clause for the Santas. Is it a joke that I didn't pick up on? Or did *gasp* the author and editors spell Santa Claus' name wrong?
