Sarah Jessica Parker arrived at the 34th Kennedy Center Honors ceremony in Washington, DC last night wearing what we can only describe as a VLBD (very large black dress).

The actress worked the red carpet in the dress which paired a tight top featuring front button detailing with a voluminous skirt. A sleek and shiny up do of almost equal volume finished the look.
You know what - we can't decide whether we like it or not. The best we can come up with is that it's not dreadful but the top part makes her whole shoulder area look oddly proportioned and the long hem is sitting as though it's come undone rather than being intentionally long in this picture.
That means we're throwing it over to you for a final verdict.
P.S. Nice to see that Mr SJP, Matthew Broderick, has learnt his lesson after stepping on her dress at that ballet gala:
