David And Victoria Beckham Say Claims They Moaned About Royal Wedding Seats Are 'Utter Rubbish'

Royal Wedding Claims Are 'Utter Rubbish'

David and Victoria Beckham have denied claims made by a cousin of the Queen's that they moaned about where they were seated at April's Royal Wedding.

Lady Elizabeth Anson - who helped organise the wedding - told the NBC documentary, Inside The Royal Wedding, that Posh and Becks weren't happy about their seats at Kate and Will's nuptials in Westminster Abbey.

Natalie Morales, the host of the doc which aired on US telly last night, said: "On the day of the wedding you recall that there were thousands of people seated inside and it was very hard to get good seats, unless you were one of the royals... Well, it turns out the Beckhams, as we hear from the Queen's cousin, weren't pleased with where they were seated."

The Beckhams have since rubbished the claims. In a statement, their spokesman said: "We have never had any dealings with Lady Elizabeth Anson. David and Victoria were honoured to be at the Royal Wedding and it is utter rubbish to say otherwise."

On the big day itself, the Beckhams had said the ceremony and service was "beautiful' and 'heartfelt'.
