Never before has Kerry Katona been compared to American showbiz royalty - until now that is.

Kerry is set to transform in to a wedding planner, just like Jennifer Lopez in the 2001 film. But she won't be gracing the big screen just yet - it's all for a new TV show.

The reality TV show regular is turning her hand to yet another one, as she takes part in new Channel 5 series Celebrity Wedding Planner, which is set to air at the beginning of January.

The show will see her blundering her way through booking photographers and finding a venue as part of the four part series.

The Celebrity Big Brother runner-up will be up against some of her ex-housemates too as it was revealed last week that Jedward will also be taking part, planning the wedding of Burlesque dancer Beulah and her finacé James.

It will mark Kerry's return to TV following the news her fly-on-the-wall show was axed by ITV2 after she left the Big Brother house.

It's not all bad news though as Kerry managed to pay off her bankruptcy with the £350,000 fee she was paid to take part in Celebrity Big Brother.

A friend of the star told The Mirror: "She's really chuffed, and she should be too. She put her head down, worked hard and done the right thing.

"The people in charge of her bankruptcy thought she would blow all her Big Brother money but she handed it over to them to settle her debt."

And with her money troubles behind her, Kerry is free to focus on her new relationship with painter Steve Alce.

She told Closer magazine how she believed she had finally found 'The One'.

"I'm very happy with Steve. I don’t want to jinx everything so I don’t want to say too much, but he’s made me realise that I can move on from my destructive previous relationships and just enjoy myself," she said.
