Dougie Poynter Supports McFly Bandmate In 'Strictly Come Dancing' Finale

Will Dougie Be Harry's Lucky Charm?

Newly-crowned king of the jungle Dougie Poynter swapped possums for paso dobles as he headed to the ballroom to support bandmate Harry Judd.

He shared his tips for victory ahead of his fellow McFly star's bid to win Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.

Drummer Harry is one of three celebrity finalists who will take part in the nailbiting final in Blackpool on Saturday.

He lines up against Chelsee Healey and Jason Donovan in the finale of the BBC1 contest which will be staged at the Tower Ballroom.

The band are already on a winning streak after Dougie triumphed in ITV1's I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! Earlier this month.

Harry and partner Aliona Vilani topped the leader board in Strictly at the weekend when judges gave him 39 points for each of his two dances.

But his rivals proved they would be tough acts to beat when they both pulled off perfect 40 scores for one dance each, impressing the notoriously hard to please judge Craig Revel Horwood.
