A woman has been killed after being struck by a car in a garden centre car park.
A man was also left seriously injured following the incident at the MGM Garden Centre in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, at around 2.25pm on Saturday.
The 63-year-old woman and 63-year-old man were walking within the car park when they were struck by a Citroen C3 car.
The woman died at the scene while the man was taken to Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock, and later transferred to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow where he is currently being treated for a head injury. His condition is described as serious but stable.

The 51-year-old female driver of the car was uninjured.
Police investigations are continuing, and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
