Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Jason Donovan has denied rumours of a rift with Aussie superstar and former girlfriend Kylie Minogue.
Jason has insisted the pair will always be great friends after they appeared in hit Australian soap Neighbours together in the 80s.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: "We never not talked. There was never a problem between us. We're different people in different worlds, but I've always been supportive of her and she of me... She was a huge part of my life and we'll always have that bond."
Following their stint on Neighbours the couple went on to have successful careers in their own right and released a hit duet, Especially For You. Donovan moved away from his pop career to concentrate on musical theatre work, while Minogue went on to become a global singing superstar.
Jason finished in third place in this year's Strictly. On his time during the show he said: "It has been such a ride. My life has had ups and downs and that's what has happened to me in Strictly. Because of the downs, you appreciate the highs so much more. I've thrown myself into it."
With Kylie celebrating 25 years in the music business next year and Jason having some spare time on his hands after Strictly, maybe we'll see them reunite?
