Michelle Keegan has confessed her towel-clad scenes in Coronation Street aren't as saucy as they seem.

The actress, who has won sexiest female awards three years in a row, has had several scenes where her character Tina McIntyre wanders around the Duckworth house wearing only a towel.

But Michelle told New! magazine: "It's fine, because underneath I've got a massive pair of granny knickers on and a bra, so I don't feel self-conscious."

She added: "I'm not body confident at all, I'm just very laid back. I've still got my insecurities, which I think every girl's got. I'm not 100 per cent confident with my body and obviously there are things that I hate, like my ears, but I'm quite laid back about it."

And Tina, who is engaged to The Wanted heartthrob Max George revealed he didn't have any problem with her snogging scenes on the ITV1 soap.

"He has his own on-screen dalliances! In the Warzone video, he's actually kissing someone and it's far more raunchy than anything I've done on Corrie! So he has to do it, I have to do it - there's never any jealousy, though."
