The appearance of the controversial and oft-abrasive Piers Morgan at the Leveson inquiry has been widely anticipated.

The former Daily Mirror and News Of The World editor is being quizzed by the media ethics inquiry via video link, as he now works for CNN in the US.

Known for his “take-no-prisoners” style on Britain’s Got Talent, as well as probing celebs on Life Stories, the twitterati have been rounding-on Morgan all morning before his appearance infront of Lord Leveson.
