Weird Inventions: Nose-Mounted LED Lights Up When You Breathe (Video)

Nose-Mounted LED Lights Up When You Breathe (Video)

A Japanese inventor has revealed his latest creation - an LED inserted in your nose that lights up when you breathe.

The strange device casts a ghostly blue light through your nostril every time it senses a draft.

It is the brainchild of Noda Akira, who says he simply attached a temperature monitor to an electrical circuit, and make the whole package small enough to put in his nose.

Akira says that the device feels like "dried snot", and adds that it is possible to wear two at once.

Not much else is known about the device and why it was made - other than the fact that it's a snazzy way for cyclists to make themselves visible at night.
