George Michael has been released from hospital in Vienna and will be able to celebrate Christmas at home, Austria's state broadcaster has reported.
The 48-year-old was being treated for pneumonia. Broadcaster ORF says he was released this morning (Thursday) from the AKH hospital and is catching a flight to London later in the day.
A hospital worker said she could not comment due to confidentiality laws.
The former front man for the pop group Wham was hospitalised late last month after cancelling a performance in the Austrian capital.
