Portuguese Police Chief Wishes His Staff 'Incredible Sexual Relations' This Christmas, Gets Suspended

Sexy Email Boss

We've all accidentally sent an email we really shouldn't have in our time - but Euclides Santos, police chief of the Portuguese city of Coimbra, really takes the biscuit.

Earning himself an almost instant suspension, he recently forwarded a PDF to his staff that included the phrase: "enough with insincere and useless words. What I wish you from the bottom of my heart, is that you have incredible sexual relations, live a merry and happy life, work hard and get well paid."

That's right, "incredible sexual relations". To everyone in the office. On his work email account. Err... that's no good.

Local officials reacted to the incident with this statement:

"After receiving a message containing content inconsistent with the prestige of this town hall in the municipal email box, an address to which all municipal employees have access to, the mayor has decided to initiate disciplinary proceedings."

What's that? Content "inconsistent with the prestige of this town hall"? That's putting it pretty lightly.

Still, it was nice of him to send anything at all, really. You know, in a way.

Am I the only one who doesn't see a problem with saying that?
It annoys me how sex is now a social taboo when it's as natural as fingers and toes and keeps our species going.

I firmly agree with you. Some people really need to adjust their thinking about sex. I blame religion for this and fear such narrow-minded thinking will always exist as long the current dominate religious organizations remain so.
