Singer Katherine Jenkins has announced she has split from Gethin Jones after a four year relationship.
The Welsh mezzo-soprano took to her Twitter account today to deliver the sad news.
TV presenter Jones also Tweeted confirmation the 10-month engagement was over.
The couple became engaged in February after Jones proposed to Jenkins with a £10,000 ring, MailOnline reported.
In November Jenkins told Good House Keeping Magazine she had not yet set a date for the wedding, but that she and Jones wanted "something family-based and small, rather than big and showy."
She added: "We are private in what we do; we don't go out with each other because we want publicity. We're together because we want to be. It's hard trying to get people to understand that."
