Russell Brand has fuelled speculation his marriage to Katy Perry is in trouble after stepping out without his wedding ring.
Less than a week after the couple celebrated Christmas on opposite sides of the world, Brand has been photographed shopping in London without the band on his left hand.
It marked the second time in two weeks Brand has gone without the diamond wedding ring Perry gave him.
The Daily Mirror now reports the pair have cancelled a New Year's Eve trip to India, where they exchanged vows in October last year.
The couple reignited persistent rumours about the state of their relationship after spending Christmas more than 7,000 miles apart - the pop star soaked up the sun on a beach in Hawaii, while Brand stayed in a rented cottage in Cornwall, England.
Earlier this month, the funnyman denied reports the couple are heading for a split during his appearance on a U.S. chat show, insisting: "I'm really happily married... I'm married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge. I'm still alive."
