TOWIE star Amy Childs is heading for the heady heights of the reality TV rich list after it was revealed she is set to make £10m by the end of 2012.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant left structured reality show The Only Way Is Essex at the end of the second series to pursue other career opportunities and has since been raking in the cash through various business ventures.

The 21-year-old fashion and beauty 'expert' (ahem) has recently opened beauty shop Amy's Salon in Brentwood, Essex, launched clothing brand The Amy Childs Collection and has teamed up with Tesco to create the Bra Queen underwear range. The slender star has also released the obligatory fitness DVD.

Amy, who is looked after by Katie Price's former management CAN Associates, hopes her business empire will go from strength to strength as she releases a string of products similar to glamour model Jordan.

A source told The Sun: "Money will just flow in now. She can keep reinventing herself like Jordan. If she is managed carefully £10 million is very achievable."

Lend us a few quid Amy!

The only 10 million she is going to earn will come from the pockets of the dopey wannabees that hang on every word and consume mentally every flash of flesh the chosen ones give out. Do not direct your bile at the lucky ones. Direct it at the ill educated vacuous dopes that give the remainder of their minimum wage packets to a well oiled machine that thrives on the taking of pocket money left in half wits pockets. If there was any justice or honesty in their accounting systems she will at least pay in 4 million in tax. What chance of that ?

"If she is managed carefully ÂŁ10 million is very achievable." - Oh! So it's not certain? She's a bit like my aunt Fanny then. She could make 1m, 10m, 20m, whatever. But it's not certain. One thing is pretty certain, however: Whoever dreamed up this story has got the brain of a ten year old.

If anyone is in any doubt as to why this Government are so hated !. Then its because they allow people like this Woman to earn such obsceene sums of money, whilst many of us are struggling just to stay afloat on the lake of life !.
11:56 AM on 01/01/2012
I just do not understand how anyone person can be paid such disgustingly large sums of money. At a time when much of the country is struggling to just cover the day to day essentials like toilet paper and food ?. With around 30% of our working age population with no employment and people dying on a daily basis because they cannot afford the simple things in life. Where is the justice in this level of earnings !!.
12:28 PM on 01/01/2012
unfortunately the public give them this money by buying the products and watching the crap programs they appear in ,dont buy and dont watch and they soon disappear out of public gaze
01:16 PM on 01/01/2012
Well, everyday many millions of people watch the BBC news, sometimes more than once a day. So on the basis of popularity as you say. Surley a BBC news reporter should be earning in the order of several hundred million pounds a year !. However normal ballanced societies have certain levels of regulations in place to keep wages in check. No person, whoever they are or however popular they are. Should ever be paid a sum of money which exeeds the value of the work they do as compared with that which 'could' be provided by the person standing next to them on the public street !. When Society starts to loose sight of this fundamental principle things start to go down the toilet, and before very long you have people like Saddam Hussain in charge of a nation.

We should not really criticise her for wanting to make loadsamoney. I think, given the chance, most would jump at the opportunity.
However, the people we should really criticise are all those morons who buy into these crap tv shows and those idiotic f*ckwitts making them.
Having said all that, I am confident this article is overhyped bullcrap and she will probably not make half of what is being claimed and more than likely she will disappear down the public toilet before you know it. Unfortunately for her, Katie Price has milked this avenue for way too long and is probably the last one to make serious money out of this kind of entertainment programs.

Should be "given" not earned.
09:41 AM on 01/01/2012
the word "earn" has lost all meaning - it used to mean "deserved".
04:38 AM on 01/01/2012
The people who create these 'celebrities' must be laughing their heads off at us, they choose who to send up and we can do nothing.
Please can someone launch a TV channel with real people earning sensible wages who love their work and want little more. As soon as an agent sees someone on TV more than once they sign them up, if it works out they make millions if it doesn't they get dropped. Just look at the AOL homepage.
04:33 AM on 01/01/2012
This is all so wrong!

Our society is rapidly going down the toilet if people are allowed to make this sort of money through no other reason than being on a "reality" TV show and having a big pair of breasts. I don't believe she has a talent at all, does she?
