The National Lottery is searching for three missing millionaires who have yet to claim their prizes from the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw before Christmas.

Some 22 ticket-holders have come forward to claim their £1 million prize from the 23 December draw, but three are still to do so.

And a ticket-holder who shared a Lotto rollover jackpot of £7.6m on Christmas Eve is also yet to come forward and claim the prize.

A National Lottery spokesman said: "The lucky winners who have already claimed their prize have been able to toast in the New Year with a boost to their bank balance, but four others are still completely unaware.

"Players need to check their tickets to see if they too are a millionaire."

Anyone who believes they have a winning ticket is advised to call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.

A few points-
The odds of winning Thunderball are much better than either the Euro or lotto.
The Irish lottery is even better still.
If you must play any of them then play on line!
Any winnings are automatically credited to your account.
No chance of losing your ticket.
No chance of forgetting to check the numbers.
(no chance of winning a lot either as I have been doing it for years)

Always check the lotto results so you will not miss out on a big win which can happen to anyone as it only takes one euro draw or lotto number to win a prize. Why bother buying a ticket in the first place if you do not check it

If nowbody claims a prize then all the money won should be spent on the areas community, making it safe for people to live, rebuild parks for children, if its a jackpot win then pay for a security man to patrol the streets at night driving around looking out for criminals, give the kids free memberships to swimming baths and so on, it just gets waisted otherwise on art,

Why don't they say where the tickets were sold?
10:24 AM on 01/03/2012
Perhaps if they published where the tickets were sold, it may alert punters to the fact they haven't checked a ticket.

Don't worry, its not me! If it was, I would leave this country in a flash to live in the sun surrounded by admiring babes with their tongues hanging out over how rich I am!

It could be you, but I wish it was me, we'll just have to wait and see, 15yrs and I'm still hoping, If I ever did win I'd probably stop smoking. I've never met a jackpot winner and wonder if any exist, are they the ones that just disapear eloping in the nights mist, I used to think I'd get lucky one day but now im not so sure, I cant even win a tenner these days, the hole things just becoming a bore, for yrs I played the same six numbers and then came the lucky dip, never change your numbers nag nag, apparently It might make you sick,I dont think I'd be anonymous for long I've been that for most of my life, I might start going to church again just to see if I could meet someone nice, Theres know point telling your partner if your partner you know you cant trust, A big win might not bring you happiness, but at least it will pay for your lust.Hot picks are value for money and you've more chance of getting that win, the lottos to much of a long shot, and more tickets end up in the bin. But its great that they give to the charitys, but isnt that what I'ts all about, just stop trying to make us play all of them , and stop telling us we're going to miss out,

And a happy new year to you. For your information, the odds of winning the euro millions are: 50x49x48x47x46x11x10 = 27967632000 to 1, you have to spend £2 so the cost of guaranteeing a share of the top prize (not necessarily being the only winner) is £55,935,264,000, which is a couple of quid short of FIFTY SIX billion pounds, NOT good odds. Now lotto odds are slightly better only 10,068,347,520 to 1, you only have to spend a few quid over TEN BILLION pounds to guarantee a share of the top prize. The amazing thing is that somebody usually wins.

Can you do tax returns as well???

I didn't bother checking the odds on winning the Euro but know your calculation on the National lottery is wrong. It would cost £13,983,816 to definitely win the jackpot or a share of it. The calculation is 49x48x47x46x45x44 divided by 6x5x4x3x2.
The bad news is (Euro or National) you're more likely to die before the draw is made than winning the jackpot. And I reckon a greater chance of having a heart attack before the last number is drawn if you've got all the other numbers correct. I once got the first four numbers and my heart was pounding, I suppose I'm lucky I then didn't get the next two ;0)
