Harry Judd Reveals Pain Over Bandmate Dougie Poynter's Rehab Stay

'Dougie's A Credit To Himself'

Strictly champ Harry Judd has opened up about the pain of seeing his McFly bandmate Dougie Poynter go through rehab.

Dougie - who was crowned King of the Jungle on the last series of I'm A Celebrity - checked into rehab in February last year following the breakdown of his relationship with girlfriend Frankie Sandford of The Saturdays.

Speaking of the experience, Harry told OK! magazine: "It was really hard. He's one of my best mates.

"He was 15 when he joined the band and I looked after him a lot. I was really upset for him, but he's turned his life around. He's a credit to himself. He's very mature for his age and - like Tom and Danny - he's a very special person and very unique.

"He's genuinely the most lovable guy. He deserves the happiness he's having right now."

Shortly after he split from Frankie last January, Dougie told the Daily Mail: "Of course I was gutted about the break-up. It was totally unexpected and I really thought things were going well between us. It was bad timing just before Christmas too.

"I didn't fit in with The Saturdays and JLS crowd and party scene anyway."

Harry has been quick to reassure McFly fans that Dougie is now fine, saying: "All I care about is Dougie. He has a beautiful new girlfriend, I've never seen him so happy."

Aaww, bless!
