WATCH: 'Elements Of Style' Grammar Rap

For those not in the know, The Elements of Style is a highly-respected book on grammar, a go-to guide for everything you could ever need to know about writing words in the English language.

First written by Cornell University professor of English William Strunk, Jr., The Elements of Style was published in 1919 before being revised by his one-time student E. B. White in 1957.

Now, it's a key reference point for journalists all across the globe - and these two would-be rappers, a pair of students from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.

Though it's very clever and very witty, it's fair enough to say they're not going to be the next Kayne West / Jay Z partnership any time soon - but what does that matter? There are grammar jokes to enjoy!

So for geeky gags a plenty, click play above, and for the written-out lyrics, head to their website here...
