Beyoncé and Jay-Z have welcomed a baby girl and called her Blue Ivy Carter.
There was initially confusion over the name, with reports suggesting it was Ivy Blue, but Gwyneth Paltrow confirmed it on Twitter, writing: "Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already."
According to eonline.com, the 30-year-old singer gave birth by caesarean section at the Lenox Hill hospital in New York.
Celebrities have been tweeting their congratulations, with hip hop mogul Russell Simmons writing: "Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z," and Singer Rihanna posting: "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih."
According to the Daily Mail, the All the Single Ladies singer booked out the entire fourth floor at a cost of $1.3 million.
