Dancing On Ice contestant and former child star Corey Feldman has vowed to write a book to reveal the details of his alleged abuse as a youngster.

The Stand by Me star was thrust into the limelight aged three when he starred in a McDonald's commercial and appeared in a string of television shows and films before his teenage years.

He struggled to cope with being in the public eye at such a young age, and has previously claimed he was abused as a child.

Now, Feldman wants to open up about his troubled youth in a new book.

He tells The Sun, "When I was 14 and 15 things were happening to me. These older men were leching around like vultures.

"It was basically me laying there pretending I was asleep and them going about their business. I will write a book - I will put all the information forward.

"There are people who have got away with it for so long they think they are above the law - that's got to stop."

Who in the heck are these "Stars" on DOI??? The only person I recognize is Cory and when was the last time he actually did anything? What a lame show!

At this point in his life, there no point in Corey telling the police what happened to him. The statute of limitations ensures that nothing can be done. The best thing he can do is put the info out there for the world to see. It's part of a healing process that most won't understand unless they've been a victim.

There won't be a conviction because the statute of limitations has run. It's not slander if the claims are true.

If he actually means what he says, far better to go to the police and make a complaint. Writing a book just smacks of trying to make a buck out of it

Hot air, if (and there's no reason to doubt him) this happened he cannot just name them in a book unless he has brought a formal complaint with the legal authorities - all sorts of libel laws exist to prevent him. He no doubt will publish a book and it may repeat what he has alleged but I'm sure any publisher will ensure they are not in the firing line of a lawsuit for libel before buying it from him.

Corey Feldman continues to use his "abuse" as a crutch to achieving his perception of the ultimate success as an "actor". He and Corey Haim both spoke of abuse during their reality programme in the states back in 2008/09, eluding to a certain, world-wide phenom pop-star. Maybe it's time to realise the time has come to get over it...

this is all wrong, if this abuse happened years ago why has he waited all this time. This is about self publicity. If he was as he claims badly affected by this alledged abuse, he should have named these people years ago,

With so much corruption in the law and legal sector, I wonder which publisher will be brave enough to put it to print? I agree that he should name and shame them because if they are high profile they would no doubt escape prosecution. Power and money. Then he would probably have an injunction put on him to keep him silent so as not to tarnish their high profil status. Again, power and money.

why is he writing a book about it????? he should be telling the police and making sure other children dont go through the same thing, maybe getting the ppl done for what they did and not letting them work with children. this is a joke hes just after money and fame. makes me sick ppl us ethis sort of thing to bump themselves they have no morels :(

If someone molested my child I wouldn't accept "hush money". I'd break every bone in their body, call the police on them and then and only then sue them for every penny they've ever earned. Anyone that accepts cash for silence in a child assault situation was a con artist to begin with.
Let's not forget Jordie Chandler came forward after Jackson's death admitting he had never been assaulted and his father committed suicide days later. That con destroyed all their lives even while it made the Chandlers much wealthier, they will suffer for the rest of their days for pulling that crime to begin with.

Sadly 9 times out of 10 the police don't do anything - lack of evidence, but I was abused and although i refuse to be a victim it's always there, so let's not be so quick to judge as we don't know what went on!
