I used to quite like Christine Bleakley when she was on the one show, but then like a lot of telly presenters who are basically nothing more than eye candy she developed celebrity' itus. She was never going to be a credible journalist like say? Emily Maitless; who has both looks and brains, but if all that was needed was a big smile? she was perfect. Now unfortunately she's going the way of so many others of her kind, and become just another WAG.

My advice. Don't expect a very long career, so smile, grab the cash while you can, and marry a footballer.

Why dont ITV learn that these plastic presenters turn viewers off, I have to record the show and fast froward parts with christine in otherwise I woulnt watch it at all, get real people like Stacey solamon or Mel Sykes on the show and I will watch the whole thing

Christine has been the victim of LEMMINGS! One thinks it, so another thinks it....and so on and so on. Ah for the days when opinions were formed and not informed!

Obviously it was going to be a hard job to take over from Holly, both her and Philip have been working together for ages and have a good working relationship. Most of the comments are directed at her physical apperance which says more about the people posting them than it does about who they are slating, FFS give the girl a chance. Note to AOL, some of these comments are also showing signs of bigotry.

People who run the hate campaign against Chritine are people who are not ready to move with the time.
one day they will wake up and found that they have been left behind, presenters move on to make better life for themselves. Jealoursy does more harm to the jealous than to the socalled victims.
Christine should just get on with it and ignore them but she should keep her private life private.

I'd prefer the figure popping Holly Willoughby but she quit Dancing on Ice to do the BBC's the Voice, ironic considering Christine Bleakley quit the BBC's One show for ITV cancelled breakfast show !!

I think everyone should have a chance in life, I really don't think people have given her a chance and to be personal about her I think it's disgraceful it appears that there is some jealousy somewhere within the A.O.L network why even bother making a comment if it's going to be insulting and damn right rude, all I can say is these people need to grow up it's childs play!!

There is nothing wrong with the girl. It's people who slag other that should go for therapy. They are full of bitterness and have nothing better to do with their sad life. I totally agree with neesagons post its all down to jealousy Sickos who are under achievers themselves absolutely hate to see anyone being successful and making a good life themselves and their families Christne is a lovely highly intelligent Ulster girl who has worked extremely hard to get to where shes got to today She has met Mr Lampard who is also a very grounded intelligent fella .and they seem very happy together . So for goodness sake wish them well in their lives as life iis very short and we are all only here for the blink of an eye
