Chantelle Houghton Denies Split From Alex Reid
Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton has denied her relationship with cage fighter Alex Reid is on the rocks following reports the couple had called off their engagement.
Referring to her fiance's cross-dressing alter-ego, the pregnant reality star apparently told Alex: "It's Roxanne or me!"
According to Now magazine, the star fled from her home in a distressed state leaving her engagement ring behind.
A source said: "Chantelle left her house last Tuesday looking really upset. She stormed out and got into her car.
"They've been arguing for weeks. Basically, Alex can't do anything right these days.
"Firstly, Chantelle hates Roxanne. She really doesn't get it and she's told him he has to give up cross-dressing once the baby's born.
"She also calls him a child - which really narks him - and says he needs to grow up now he's going to be a dad."
Chantelle can't really be blamed for disliking Roxanne can she?
However, she had denied a split is on the cards.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "Massive YAWN to NOW magazine reports that me and Alex are splitting, what a great load of crap story. Cheers guys!
"I don't wear my engagement ring every day it cost so much money, I get scared of being mugged. Maybe I should get ENGAGED tattooed on my head?"
