Wish He Was On My Team! Basketballer Stands At 7ft 5in Tall

This basketball player stands head and shoulders above his teammates – quite literally at a whopping 7ft 5in tall.

Mamadou Ndiaye is believed to be the tallest high school basketball player in the U.S.

Born in Senegal, the strapping 18-year-old plays for the Brethren Christian Warriors, in Huntington Beach, California.

He weighs 22 stone, can touch the rim without jumping and is being hotly tipped by NBA scouts.

Ndiaye’s height is believed to be related to a tumour in his pituitary gland, which at one point threatened to blind him.

Coach John Bahnsen told the Sun: “It’s been interesting. It’s been a challenge for everybody to learn to play with someone of that size.

“Most definitely he is drawing interest. Some of it is going to depend on academics, but he has a future in professional basketball.”
