Ferris Bueller, Matthew Broderick To Reprise Role In Mystery Super Bowl Ad (Video)

Ferris Bueller Is Back!

Matthew Broderick is to reprise his Ferris Bueller role for an advert to be shown at the Super Bowl.

Although the ten-second teaser did not reveal what Broderick will be advertising, fans of the lovable high school misfit have reacted with euphoria.

The video has been viewed around half a million times, with devotees chanting “Beuller….Beueller… Bueller” and even speculating a sequel to the John Hughes comedy could be in the works.

The full advert is expected to air during Super Bowl XLVI on Febuary 5.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off saw the protagonist skipping school and spending the day in downtown Chicago. Shot in 1986 on a budget of $5.8m, the picture became one of the top-grossing films of the year
