Celebrity Big Brother winner Denise Welch has brushed off rumours she's been having an eight-month affair by putting on a united front with her husband Tim Healy on his 60th birthday.
The TV star was at the centre of allegations over the weekend suggesting she has been secretly dating 39-year-old party organiser Lincoln Townley since last April.
The Sunday Mirror claimed they had been sharing hotel rooms while Welch was away filming ITV's Loose Women but Denise has put the rumours behind her by stepping out to celebrate her hubby's landmark birthday at a pub in Cheshire.
Denise spoke out to dispel the latest round of rumours, telling the Daily Express: "We are not interested in the [affair] report. It's Tim's 60th birthday and we are celebrating that and the fact that Mummy is home after three weeks in the Big Brother house."
The former soap star also hit back at comments made by her CBB housemate Michael Madsen, who claimed she begged him for sex during their time on the show.
She adds: "Why, when I have a husband and children watching at home, would I beg him for sex? Please, the man is deluded. I would rather drown in my own sick than go anywhere near him. He disgusts me. He’s a bitter, twisted, horrible, grumpy man."
