Celebrity Big Brother star Natasha Giggs was contacted by police on Wednesday after receiving threatening messages from "Twitter's first killer" - who chillingly stated her "time is up".
Glamour model Natasha had a well-publicised eight-year affair with Manchester United footballer Ryan Giggs whilst she was married to his brother Rhodri and the scandal has disgusted one Twitter user so much they've sent her death threats.
Taking to the social networking site, the user wrote: "It amazes me you thought u could get away with being a w**re without punishment."
The user, known as Jersey Justin, described Natasha as "everything that's evil" and added: "The Devil put her here and I'll remove her!"
Natasha was alerted to the frightening messages by a friend and the brunette raised the alarm by posting an image of the user's chilling threats.
However the unhinged man continued, saying: "Just to tell u that yr punishment is coming and it will be severe! Your time is up c**t!! u will feel pain! u love all the attention from yr fans; well enjoy it becoz its almost over!!!
"I can't wait to see the pain and fear in yr eyes Natasha Giggs. I am Twitter's first killer Tweeter!"
As the chilling messages continued, fans alerted the police - who subsequently contacted the star.
Greater Manchester Police wrote on the site: "@NatashaGiggs. Hi, several people have Tweeted us saying you’ve had threatening Tweets. We recommend u report it on 101 or 999 if emergency."
However, this didn't stop the threats and angry Jersey Justin wrote: "I will be seeing u! im gonna rip u c**t!"
And he even extended the threats to her friends, writing: "Do yourself a favour, stay away from Natasha over the next few weeks!! u’ve been warned!!!"
A frightened Natasha responded: "WTF is this for real?? Little disturbed at that. There are some seriously mentally deranged smackrats on Twitter."
The chilling news comes days after mum-of-two Natasha reported she was being followed by a man as she travelled back to Manchester from London following her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.
A spokesperson for Natasha told the Daily Star: "She is terrified. She has absolutely no idea who this could be. It is so sinister."
