Oh Madonna. Words (almost) fail us. She's clearly over all that 'directing' business, and is now getting set for her musical comeback - more specifically, her hugely hyped half-time performance during the Super Bowl this weekend.
The 53-year-old was speaking about said performance at the Super Bowl press conference yesterday - for which she decided to wear one of the most bizarre outfits we've seen in a while...

Can you imagine anyone other than Madonna in a cropped waistcoat, baggy trouser pinstripe suit - complete with pocket chain, obvs - plus boots, leather gloves, a crucifix necklace and a lace corset? (Actually possibly Janet Jackson. Or Britney. But they'd also add a trilby. She missed a trick there.)
Either way, it's all very much making us miss the I'm-a-director-therefore-I-wear-ladylike-dresses Madonna. We feel bad that we didn't really appreciate her at the time.
