WHO? NY stalwart Jill Stuart
IN A NUTSHELL: It was a case of naughty versus nice on the catwalk this morning at Jill Stuart. Pretty floral fabrics and girlie skater silhouettes were spliced with sheer lace and chiffon panels and teamed with fetish-style patent platform shoes and boots.
BEG, BORROW OR STEAL: We loved the pretty 70s-style floral print skirt and tee combo. The sweet skater dresses are perfect for partying as well as, er, skating. We also loved the fur hood cape coats which conjured visions of a goth Red Riding Hood.
F-ROW: Olivia Palermo, who at one point looked like she was in genuine danger of drowning in paparazzi types, Nikki Reed and 'a player for the Giants' (don't ask us to name him because we just can't, in fact we're not even sure what type of sport the Giants actually play).
VERDICT: This wasn't knock your socks off out there fashion, but it was incredibly wearable. Stuart brought a broodier mood than usual to her Autumn/Winter 2012/13 collection and for our part, we enjoyed getting a glimpse of her dark side.
