Linford Christie's Son Hit With Drug Charge

Linford's Son In Drugs Charge

Linford Christie's son has hit the headlines after he was charged with dealing crack cocaine and heroin.

Liam Linford Oliver-Christie has maintained his innocence after he was hit with two counts of dealing Class A drugs and one of "acquiring, possessing or using" illegal cash.

He will appear at West London magistrates court on 6 March accused of supplying 1.3 grams of crack cocaine and 1.99 grams of heroin, according to The Mirror.

Liam was arrested after police twice swooped in on his West London flat in raids of May and August last year.

The 26-year-old also reveals his relationship with his Olympic hero father is virtually non-existent.

He says: "My dad is dead. I haven't spoken to anyone. I'm just waiting to see what happens."

The 51-year-old sprinter previously disputed paternity of Liam and his twin Korel but was forced to pay maintenance after a DNA test proved he is their dad.
