St Valentine's Day Google Doodle

Is there such a thing as too much lovey dovey cuteness on St Valentine's day? Google says, no way, and has thus animated it's famous doodle to celebrate the love fest. Watch the St Valentine's day Google doodle above.

Set to Tony Bennett's "Cold, Cold Heart", the animation celebrates the love between a girl and a boy, a boy and a boy, an alien and an astronaut and a cookie and its milk.

The animation marks the tenth anniversary of Google's St Valentine's doodles.

Michael Lipman, the animator told The Telegraph: "These characters are archetypes, with no dialogue, so it can play around the world. That was every girl I met up until college. The little girl who couldn't see the magic within [me] - she had many faces."

2011's St Valentine's day Google doodle was an homage to pop artist Andy Warhol.
