Recalling her first collectionz and focusing on tailoring galore, complete with pinstripes and wide shoulders and a dose of high glamour, it was natural that the beauty muse for Donna Karan's Autumn/Winter 2012/13's show should be supermodel Linda Evangelista.

"I wanted the girls to channel Linda," Mac's Charlotte Tilbury explained to us before the show, "but they needed to be a handsome Linda Evangelista.
One of the biggest beauty trends that we've noted on the New York runways is an unfaltering focus on the eyes, with lips and cheeks left blank (see Nars for Marc Jacobs). Tilbury took this a step further and turned convention on its head by applying lipstick onto the eyelids and leaving the mouth bare. The berry shades, Mac's Diva and Partyline lipsticks, completed a beauty look that is at once dapper, urbane and sexy. Just like Linda.
