Natalie Cassidy's Ex-Fiance Adam Cottrell Given Community Service

Natalie's Ex Sentenced

Natalie Cassidy's ex-fiance has been ordered to do 40 hours of community service for breaking a pensioner's window.

Adam Cottrell, who split from the Celebrity Big Brother star last year after assaulting her, smashed the window in fury after missing a train in December.

Pensioner Barbara Press, who owned the property, called the police and Adam was arrested in her garden.

He admitted causing £300 of criminal damage when he appeared before Southend Magistrates Court.

Former EastEnders actress Natalie got a restraining order against her ex following their bust-up last year, but the pair were spotted shopping together when the order was lifted earlier this month.

A representative for Natalie recently confirmed the pair are now on "civil terms".

Speaking to The Mirror, they said: "The restraining order against Adam has been lifted due to Adam seeking help for his alcohol dependency. As a result, Natalie and Adam are on civil terms."

However, a source suggested Natalie, mum to daughter Eliza, was growing close to Adam again.

The source said: "Adam is a genuinely lovely guy and he has been working very hard to deal with the issues which had come between them. Natalie loves him very much and they have a strong bond through Eliza.

"They're enjoying spending time together again and recently celebrated Adam's birthday together. They are determined to give Eliza the best possible start in life."
