Twitter Jokes Of The Week: Week 7 (Of 52)

So, that was the week that was. The week that David Cameron ate porridge in Scotland. The week that Tesco lived up to its 'every little helps' motto by giving its staff very little (well, it helps, doesn't it?). The week that we heard I Will Always Love You everywhere we went, and not just because it was Valentine's Day.

It was also the week that Nicolas Sarkozy joined Twitter - and we can't recommend his feed highly enough, especially if you speak French. Why, the man has already checked in on Four Square. Before you know it, he'll be Mayor of somewhere. Or possibly even President.

But enough of all that. From topical gags to whimsical one-liners, here are just some of our favourite funny tweets from the past seven days. And yes, we know it's a bumper crop of 60 - but trust us, they're worth clicking through. At under 140 characters, it's really not going to take you that long to read each one, now, is it? And if you're struggling, just get a night worker in to read them for you. For free. It's the British (supermarket) way.

Silly me, I thought Cameron's Big Society was the current joke of the year, but then I saw his puppy Clegg the spineless!

Not my comment, mine was entered and replaced, why bother posting if it is going to be replaced by someone else's words?

Ten out of ten for the headline. I'm still laughing here.
