JLS star Aston Merrygold has crashed his £152,000 Ferrari into a recycling bin after being mobbed by screaming fans.

Days after celebrating his 24th birthday, the Everybody In Love singer arrived at a recording studio in Bermondsey, south London to find a big crowd of teenagers waiting for him.

He tried to reverse the grey California car, but crashed it into a recycling bin - smashing one of the rear tail-lights.

One onlooker tells The Sun: "He started to reverse quite quickly - I don't know if he was trying to show off or not.

"You couldn't tell if he said anything or not because it was so noisy with all the girls around."

Aston apparently hurried into the Music Bank studios and didn't come out until several hours later when he drove off in the damaged car.

The singer celebrated his birthday on Valentine's Day with his bandmate Marvin Humes, who is engaged to The Saturdays star Rochelle Wiseman.

Hardly a boy at 24. If he has the money, it up to him how he spends it and I agree with others reversing into a bin is hardly a crash. But I bet a back light light cluster is going to be very expensive to replace.

Hardly a CRASH when you reverse into a bin!!! He was most probably too busy admiring himself in the mirror. If vanity was an Olympic sport JLS would win gold every time, they're more sickly than dipping your head in a bag of sherbert.

I have never honestly understood the knicker twitching fixation that screaming teenage girlies have with this fellow, i mean is he really THAT good looking?

If you drive a Ferrari be prepared to be noticed then mobbed. Far to much money for someone on the TV tonight saying how he was affected badly with all the starving and sick babies in Africa on his last visit there and could we the ordinary working public give money. We the UK have been giving for 60+ years to Africa and were has it got us to this day its the same, nothing will ever change there ever.
As they say...your only as good as your last hit...and in your case a recycle bin. Practice what you preach sell your Ferrari and give the money to the sick and dying you little creep.

True, we are now giving to Africa, but in a thousand years what we are now giving will never ever make up for what we took mostly by brutal murder from Africa including over 85 million human beings we kidnapped and enslaved in the colonies resulting in massive wealth which we still exist on.

I or my long family tree never enslaved anyone. My great grand father and great great grand father died in the 1st and 2nd World War at very early ages. They died to give this country freedom they fought to give freedom to the world. No one will ever repay them only in memory. Some people loose sight of how much of a struggle we are having in this country to make ends meet. I agree with you the slave trade was appalling but the cotton trades and merchants that made money (the rich) there the ones who need to pay the debt, NOT us ordinary working class people.

All celebrities live a life of luxury because the public are willing to pay £8/£10 or more for their CDs. These CDs could be produced and sold for considerably less money (less than £2). Same old story - the low paid slog themeselves to death for peanuts and the rich live off the backs of the low paid. Such extremes of wealth amount to greed at the expense of the general public. Listen to the Radio instead of buying CDs - it's cheaper and would get the message across to record companies that the general public are fed up being ripped off.
