Staffordshire Car Crash Kills Two

Two people have been killed and another two airlifted to hospital after a car crash in Staffordshire, police said.

Inspector Mike Harding, from Staffordshire Police, said the collision between a red Fiat Punto and a silver Renault Megane happened on the A523 in the Staffordshire Moorlands at around 3pm on Saturday.

He added: "Two people, a man and a woman, have been taken to hospital by air ambulance. Two further people, a man and a woman, were pronounced dead at the scene."
