Victoria Beckham Hits Out At 'Miserable' Jibes

Victoria Beckham has defended herself against critics who accused her of looking gaunt and miserable earlier this week.

The former Spice Girl and fashion designer insisted she is just like any woman with children who is still trying to pursue a career.

As Victoria arrived back in Britain three days ago, after showing off her acclaimed collection at New York Fashion Week, critics have called her skinny, malnourished and moody.

She told The Mirror: "Look, if people want to say I'm f**king miserable then so be it. I'm really not. I have a lot on my plate."

The 37-year-old star says she is not getting much sleep with new baby Harper and was taking Skype business calls throughout the night ahead of showing off her fashion collections.

She said: "I'm up with the baby as all mums are and I wouldn't have it any other way. There's not a team of people doing it for me. And then people want to say I look c**p. Well, I'm a working mum, so give me a break."
