Attention anyone attending the Oscars next Sunday: in a selfless act of public duty, actress Kerry Ellis arrived at the What's On Stage Awards last night wearing exactly what you should NEVER EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WEAR on the red carpet. The timing is just too much of a coincedence, so we can only assume that she's taken the sartorial bullet so that Oscars attendees can learn lessons and get it right next weekend.

Let's take it piece by piece:
The Top: Sheer tops are a tough gig at the best of times - but a basic rule is that your bra matches the colour of your top. On the upside, at least Kerry's wearing a bra.
The Shorts: In one way we want to praise her for getting a jump start on Spring/Sumer 2012's sports luxe trend, but we mostly want to tell her to put a proper skirt on.
The Tights: Never ever wear nude tights. That is all.
The Shoes: They are nice enough - but just not with this outfit. Trainers would have been more appropriate.
On the upside, Kimberley Walsh looked rather nice:
