Sainsbury's Cover Up Daniel Radcliffe
Sainsbury's have caused outrage for covering up an issue of magazine Attitude featuring the actor Daniel Radcliffe with a modesty board in one of their London stores.
Radcliffe, who appears fully clothed on the gay magazine's cover, used an interview with the magazine to speak out against homophobic bullying.
Scott Bryan who took the picture said: "It was in the Dalston Junction Sainsbury's. I've never seen it blocked from view in that way. It made me feel a bit annoyed because apart from a few exposed abs there's nothing in any way that's pornographic or shocking."
The 22 year old writer said he believed Attitude was "on the same level as GQ or Esquire", adding: "I think in some ways it's more tasteful than a lot of other Lads' mags."

Tweeters asked if the same treatment was given to other men's magazines.

A Sainsbury's spokesperson said: ""Following feedback from customers we introduced modesty covers several years ago across a wide variety of magazines. This is to ensure no offence is caused to customers who may object to the images or the content on the covers of some magazines."
"The titles that do have modesty covers do so for every edition so no particular cover is ever singled out."
