As this video of a cat watching January's Novak Djokovic/Rafael Nadal Australian Open final was posted on Djokovic's own site - Novak Djokovic on WhoSay - the overexcitable fans' comments beneath it are just as bonkers as you'd expect.

"HOW I WISH U COULD COME 2 CHINA ! SOMEWHERE IN TIME" says 'Guess?', "have you ever been to a lolcats site? try icanhascheezburger.com...it's lol funny!" says 'Sangeeta Chadha'.

That said, perhaps this level of excitement is understandable. After all, this is a cat who appears to be entranced by the undeniable power of the tennis ball, his head going back and forth like a dog trying to catch a ping pong ball.

Animals seem to be glued to the gogglebox more and more these days, sometimes even without their owners. To prove that point, take a look at video gallery of cats and dogs staring at their masters' TVs. One lazy bulldog even watches some Family Guy, for flip's sake - though we can't for the life of us work out why.
