Stacey Solomon Says She Won't Wed Until She Loses Baby Weight

'I'll Lose Baby Weight Before I Wed'

Former X Factor star Stacey Solomon has vowed not to walk down the aisle with her fiance until she has shifted all her baby weight.

The singer-turned-TV presenter is expecting her second child with partner Aaron Barnham, and she is eager to make their relationship official.

But Stacey is adamant she will not be wearing white until she has slimmed down after the tot's arrival in April.

Speaking to New! magazine, she says: "I think (the wedding will) be the summer of 2013.

"I want an outside wedding. We want to get married when it's warm but I don't want to get married now. I won't be my best and as skinny as I want to be. And I want both of my children walking down the aisle with me - not one of them in a pram."

However, despite her slimming goal, Stacey insists her weight loss won't be as simple as it seems for other celebrity mums.

She adds: "I'm not one of these people who believes in leaving the hospital and being a size zero because I won't. I'll be this size for a few months. Hopefully, I won't eat as much as I won't be feeding me and a baby."

Aaron popped the question to the I'm A Celeb... champion in December while they were taking a romantic horse and carriage ride in New York.

Stacey already has a young son, Zach, from a previous relationship, and recently admitted she was shocked to be congratulated her on her second pregnancy because she received so many negative comments when she was a teenage single mum.

She said: "I've been saying how different things are this time round. The first time I was pregnant, I was only 17 and people's reaction would be, 'Oh, I'm so sorry,' whereas now it's, 'Congratulations.' I'm not used to all of this."
